Privacy notice
Draft pending solicitor review. Last updated 29 October 2026.
This policy explains what information Docable ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website (docable.co) and our sales and support communications.
The short version
- This notice covers this website and our sales and support communications.
- We collect what you send us, typically your name, email and message when you contact us.
- We don't sell personal information.
- This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies. It counts visits with a cookieless analytics service.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you email us, join the waitlist, or ask for support, we receive the information you choose to include — usually your name, email address, company and the content of your message. Support messages may include screenshots you choose to share.
The waitlist
When you join the waitlist we keep what you type in the form (your name, work email, company, size, job title, the Salesforce products you use, the documents you make and your message) so that we can tell you when Docable is available and answer what you asked. The form is handled by a small program in our own account with our hosting provider; it emails the details to us and keeps a copy there. We use them for nothing else, they go only to the providers that run the form and our email, and you can ask us to delete them at any time at the address below.
Website analytics
This website uses our hosting provider's privacy-first web analytics to count visits: the pages viewed, the site that sent you, your country, and your type of device and browser. It sets no cookies, doesn't track you across other sites, and doesn't build a profile of you; we see totals, not individuals. Our own visit counter, run in our account with our hosting provider, adds each page you view, the site that sent you and your country to the day's totals. To count each browser once a day it makes a one-way code from your connection's address and your browser's name with a key that changes every day, and deletes that code within two days; your address itself is never stored, and nothing is kept in your browser. The website sets no advertising cookies. If that changes we will update this notice and ask for consent first where the law requires it.
Your Salesforce data
Docable runs inside your Salesforce org and runs no server of its own. Its document generation makes no external call unless your administrator connects one. Optional features, such as AI authoring through Salesforce, Claude through a Salesforce-hosted server and storage destinations you connect, are described on theSecurity and data flow page. The terms of your subscription will say what we process on your behalf, if anything.
How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and provide support
- To administer subscriptions and customer relationships
- To send product updates you've asked for — every email includes a way to opt out
- To operate, secure and improve this website
Sharing
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, under appropriate agreements, or where required by law:
- Website hosting, the waitlist form and visit counting
- Email, for the messages you send us and our replies
- An AI assistant that reads incoming support and sales emails to draft replies; a person reads and sends every reply
Retention
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to manage our relationship with you and to meet legal obligations, then delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email[email protected] and we'll respond within one month.
